CLASS DOES NOT MEET
Before the end of the day, email me (email@example.com) a preliminary query letter for your final project, which is to be on an international topic. I will email you back your query letters with comments.
Research: Come up with a reading list of 10 articles about your international topic. Create a proposed reading list with the articles and hand it in. Come up with a list of five international news websites that cover the issue you've chosen.
Prepare a list of five questions about journalism and your final projects for Professor Josh Mills, who will be our guest speaker next week.
Reading: Read the 10 articles on your list.
Writing: Based on the comments I've given you, rewrite your proposal for your final project, detailing exactly what international issue you plan to cover and what elements (graphics, maps, etc.) you plan to incorporate. Email me your query letter before Nov. 15, 2000 at 11:59 p.m.
