Class XIII, Thursday, Nov. 30, 2000, 1:30 p.m.
Discussion:: The negative and positive sides of the Internet revolution. Discuss the progress of your final project.
Lab: Finding experts. Students show and tell.
By now, you should be adept enough to research, read and write on your own. Begin creating a 3,000 to 5,000 word package--filled with website links, maps and other graphics--discussing the current status of your international topic. Track down individual people: use quotes from experts, civilians, locals with a connection to the issue and government officials. Include sidebars about tangential topics and reviews of websites covering your issue.
