Battling for free music
Not all artists are swimming in money. Most upcoming artists are not as rich as the artists on MTV, and rely on the CD sales to get paid. A guy who calls himself eiband on
Collegeclub.com says, "I am against Napster 100%. I am a musician and feel that it is stealing from the musicians. They did not
become rich off album sales overnight. I hate when people say they are rich and can afford it. That's like saying I can steal a doctor's TV because he can afford a new one."
When it comes to Napster musicians and artists seem to have different opinions.
Imusic.com is known to be the biggest on-line
music community on the web. It provides the viewers with over 100,000 artists with updates, message boards, chats, classifieds, and the local scene in their community. It's a good way to discuss your views and opinions of the Napster case with fellow artists and musicians.
