"Ravers themselves enjoy the site."
I-mockery.com is a site that is based on mockeries. It has many anti-music pages including this anti-rave site. The definition of "raving" this site portrays is anyone or anything pertaining to "repetitive techno music, drugs, and hippy-like attitudes." The site mocks raves by offering a variety of selections to choose from including articles of experiences at raves, photographs of people at raves with humorous bylines, and a message board for people to post questions and comments on.
When 'stl-raves', a member of the site, posted on the message board how it was hard for him to believe why someone would construct a website on how much he/she hated something, the hosts of the site made a simple reply:
"We did this site for one reason, and one reason only...because we think it's pretty funny! If people don't take a moment in life to laugh at themselves, then why even be alive?"
They continued by saying that the site is enjoyed by many viewers. "Not just people that 'hate' ravers, but ravers themselves enjoy the site."
The site's most humorous section includes a page of "raver products." This page includes mockeries of pretend products that ravers supposedly use.
For example, a picture displaying a raver holding a large water gun has a caption that reads, "Glow gun, a water gun filled with glowing liquid found in glow sticks." The instructions for the product follows, "aim for the eyes for the ultimate high."
